Spirituality in the time of revolution

First of all, let's call it for what we see.  This is a revolution. Revolutions are not known for being polite affairs that keep the feelings of all parties in mind.  They are uproarious, sometimes violent affairs.  They usually result in a loss of life. We live now in a place where racism is out there, and it can be seen and heard again. Hatred, bigotry and all of the unhappy things that go with it. We are not united still, however.  Everyone wants to take their own unique viewpoint about what is and what is not acceptable.  It's fine for you to have those viewpoints, but let's just start at the place that 98% of us can agree with.  We don't want war, we don't want white supremacists or neo-Nazi's running our country. Now, someone is going to argue with me and tell me this civil unrest is not a revolution.  It is a small group of "Antifa" or "alt-left" individuals who are causing the "trouble".  But, let's just have a lo...

A Decade in Rewind: 2010-2020.

It was brought to my attention a few weeks back that, we are indeed at the end of another decade.  These memes and blog posts remind us to pause, and take stock of the time we have spent, and what we have done. To answer the question "What is Mama Dee's Wisdom" we need to first ask who is Mama Dee. Well, I am Mama Dee.  I've lived about 4 lives in this one particular body, and I think I must be part cat because I feel like I've still got some life left in me.  Having lived and observed as I have, I have learned a lot of things about the nature of life.  Things haven't been easy, but if they had been I wouldn't have learned what I have. My tapestry includes Neuro-divergence, 3 marriages with 1 ending in my spouse going to jail, having and then losing 3 kids, then gaining 3 more with my third, (and I am hoping final) marriage.  I have known the grief of losing children, but having them very much alive living elsewhere.  I have struggled with various mental issues from anxiety, to depression to post-partum paranoia, an attachment disorder, hypo-mania and trying to figure out how to make my demons play well with others... Add in my IQ and my abnormally decent mem...
